About EPN
A consumer-first place to start
Estate Planning Navigator was created to help ordinary people understand what estate-planning products do before they agree to buy them.
Why it exists
Wills, LPAs, trusts, tax, property ownership and care questions are often presented together as one complicated package. EPN separates them. It explains which tasks have free official routes, which may be suitable for careful preparation and which usually justify qualified professional help.
Who is behind it
EPN was founded by Baljit Rihal, an entrepreneur with a professional background spanning business, compliance and consumer decision-making. EPN is an independent educational publisher. It is not a law firm, accountancy practice, trust corporation or FCA-authorised financial adviser.
How expertise is presented
EPN does not convert research into personal recommendations. Primary sources are linked and rule dates are displayed. Where external professional review is used, the reviewer, qualification, scope and review date will be stated. EPN will not imply that a solicitor, tax adviser, TEP or regulated financial adviser has approved material unless that review has actually occurred.
How the business earns revenue
EPN charges for useful organisation, plain-English explanations, worksheets, comparison tools and saved research time. Paid products and any future referral relationships will be labelled clearly. A provider will not be presented as objectively best merely because they paid for visibility.
EPN helps you understand the questions. Appropriately qualified professionals must consider your circumstances before you act on legal, tax, financial, pension or care-funding matters.
